Description

This pack contains four large black plastic square trays, each measuring 60 cm by 60 cm with a side wall height of 8 cm. The trays are manufactured from high-impact polystyrene (HIPS) with a matte finish. The 8 cm depth is sufficient to contain water runoff from several pots placed on the tray, making it suitable for protecting windowsills, balconies, or wooden flooring. The black colour reduces visible algae growth when used outdoors. The trays can also function as mixing tubs for soil or granular fertilisers; the user can mix components directly inside the tray without contaminating the surrounding area. The trays are not drilled for drainage; they can be used as shallow reservoirs for sub-irrigation if the user places pots on raised feet or bricks. The smooth interior surface releases dried soil easily after soaking. Cleaning is done with a hose or sponge. The trays are stackable for space-saving storage. They are not intended for heating or cooking. No claim of chemical resistance to strong solvents is made. Suitable for both residential and commercial horticulture.
