Description

This large square mat measures 99 cm by 99 cm and is fabricated from a cross-woven high-density polyethylene (HDPE) fabric. The cross-woven construction provides tear resistance in multiple directions; even if a small nick occurs, the tear does not propagate easily. The mat is double-sided waterproof, meaning both faces have a laminated polyethylene coating. This feature allows the user to flip the mat after cleaning, effectively doubling the usable life before visible wear appears. The mat is intended for succulent soil mess control, capturing fine sand, pumice, and other gritty materials. After transplanting, the user can lift the mat by two opposite corners to pour residual soil back into a storage container. The mat folds along three parallel creases into a 33 cm by 33 cm square, secured by a sewn-in strap. Cleaning can be done by shaking outdoors or wiping with a damp cloth. The product does not contain any plasticisers that could migrate to hands. It is not a substitute for a planting tray with sides; the mat lies flat without raised edges. Suitable for indoor use on floors or tables. No assembly needed.
