This extra large mat measures 109 cm by 76 cm, providing a generous work area for repotting several plants in one session. The material is a cross-laminated polyethylene fabric, similar to that used for heavy-duty tarpaulins but with a softer hand feel. The thickened construction, approximately 0.4 mm thick, resists puncture from sharp root fragments or broken terracotta pieces. The mat is foldable along both axes, reducing to a 38 cm by 27 cm rectangle for storage. Integrated metal grommets at three edges allow hanging on a wall hook between uses. The green colouration is embedded in the resin, not surface-printed, so it will not rub off onto hands or pots. For cleaning, users may shake dry soil outdoors and then wipe the mat with a wet sponge. The product does not incorporate any antimicrobial or antifungal additives. It is a passive barrier, not a chemical treatment. Suitable for use on carpeted floors because the smooth underside does not snag fibres. No assembly required. The mat is sold individually.
